Seed Harvesting & Winter Sowing with Nancy

Fall is the correct time of year to sow most native perennial seeds. In this workshop, Nancy will explain the process of seed stratification and why it is important to understand when sowing native perennial seeds. She will then demonstrate 3 methods: direct sowing in the ground, seeding into flats, and sowing seeds in milk jugs. Nancy will also talk about collecting seed, cleaning seed, and storing it.
