From Japan, naturally. Meeting new plants often happens through meeting new people. We got to taste this pungent mustard green, named after the flavor of wasabi, in a field in rural Japan. Its growers are part of the global Shumei community and farm using Natural Agriculture practices. They shared seeds with us, which were then grown by our Shumei farmer-in-residence, Kenny Nakagawa.
