Indeterminate. Consistently wins taste tests with its sweet, rich flavor. Produces large fruit, 2 1/2 to 4 pounds each! The name refers to the man who introduced this tomato, affectionately know as "Radiator Charlie", who was able to pay off his mortgage by growing and selling this tomato! Tomatoes are a warm season crop and must be started ahead of time indoors in late March/early April. Plant them out after all danger of frost has past. Be sure to note whether they are determinate (bushy) or indeterminate (vining) and provide proper support.
Natureworks recommends our heavy duty tomato cages that fold flat for storage.
