This is a dark green, delicious zucchini with white flesh. It has a nice connection to our state as it was deleloped in 1957 by John Scarchuk at the CT Agricultural Experiment Station! Squash is a warm season crop. Direct seed outdoors after all danger of frost is over. Look at the number of days needed for harvest; many summer squash varieties are quick to mature. I usually sow a second round of summer squash in July for a fall crop. 45-60 days. Pick these when they are 8" long or smaller. Yum!
