The classic mixture of Lupinus polyphyllus that we all know and love. Lupines will grow leaves the first year and flower the second year. ALWAYS let the seed ripen on the stalk and then run your hand up the dried stem, gather the seed, and sprinkle it where you MORE lupines! Bend the stem over, don't cut it, as the stem is hollow and will fill with water. Lupines are a short lived perennial but make up for it by self-seeding very well if you follow these instructions. -Nancy
