This book, by garden designer Karen Chapman, is an inspiration for anyone who gardens in deer country. The premise is how to use thoughtful design to create a landscape that can coexist with deer without putting up a fence. If you have a deer problem, you know that the lists are very frustrating- what is eaten in one garden is ignored in another. In this book, 13 gardens and gardeners are featured from around the country. It is inspiration to understand the many creative, inspirational, and attractive ways these folks have dealt with deer and created beautiful landscapes. Karen is also an expert on container gardens and there is a chapter on containers in this book as well. -Nancy
Go to our website and sign up for our Deer Blast reminder every three weeks if you will be using our organic repellents. I will send you an email to remind you to apply the repellents and, each time, I will feature plants that work well in the Natureworks gardens when deer are a problem.
