These are the very delicious, tender, French filet beans that everyone asks for. This variety is MY favorite as it grows the tender beans on tall, vines- it is a pole bean variety of Haricot Vert! The secret to these beans is to pick them when they are only 7-9" long, and pencil thin. That is when they are the most tender. Last year I harvested and fed my plants and, to my surprise, they kept "re-beaning" until September. I also sowed a second crop in July, after I harvested my garlic which I do every year. We ate a LOT of beans in our household! Beans are easy to grow. A warm season vegetable, direct sow the seed after the danger of frost has past. -Nancy
