Grow your own red onions. Planting onion "sets" (baby onion bulbs) is a quick way to grow them. Each bag contains 75 sets, enough to feed your family for a long time. Plant in spring, harvest in fall. Onion sets take 3-4 months from planting until harvest. Store in a cool place until you are ready to plant, preferably between 35-40 degrees.
